They Might Need A Bigger Bike

Recreating a childhood photo can be tricky, especially if you are adamant about making an exact replica. It seems that this family was pretty persistent at keeping things precisely the same, even the good old bike.

In the ‘then’ picture, the two brothers and their father have posed on and around the same bicycle. Although their child versions seem to relish the moment, the full-grown versions would have dreaded it at first. You have to applaud their dedication and effort, though! Who knows how long it would have taken the guy to climb up the front of that bike!

Some Childhood Pictures Are Better Left Unseen

We all have certain childhood pictures that we don’t want anybody to see. But this gutsy guy not only displayed an embarrassing image on social media but also recreated it! We are not complaining, as it is a pretty hilarious snap!

The guy in the picture recreated a funny pose from childhood, where he pulled his white outfit (no clue what it is) and made a wild expression. The child version seems to have enjoyed his day, but the enjoyment on the adult’s face is pretty evident too. We’d love to know the story behind this crazy snap!

This Must-Have Required Some Skills

Our childhood photo album certainly has a picture of us holding our younger sibling. But the thought of doing the same now seems preposterous. Not to these brothers, evidently! These boys recreated a picture from their childhood, in which the older brother held the younger one in his arms.

Frankly, the present counterparts seem to be having some trouble replicating the pose. 100 points for the effort, though! Guess they learned it the hard way that holding a fully grown adult is a lot tougher than holding a baby. But we have to admit, it’s a picture that has been perfectly recreated.

Messy Eaters Always Suffer

You cannot expect children to be concerned about their hygiene and cleanliness as they relish eating chocolate ice-cream. But some judgment is definitely passed when adults do it!

No judgments for this brother, though, who seems to be recreating a childhood photo. In these images, the two brothers take a picture in which one brother’s mouth is covered in chocolate as he eats an ice-cream. The replicated photo takes every detail into consideration, from chocolaty mouth to matching blue outfits. Everything has been copied precisely. This picture is truly a piece of art!

Just A Pair Of Buried Siblings

You cannot go to a beach and not click a picture of your sibling buried neck-deep into the sand. Although this could easily be done if you are a child, adults may have a hard time doing the same, but this mischievous duo appear to have pulled off the replica excellently!

The brother and sister recreated their beach image by burying themselves into the sand. The expression of the sister is priceless as the brother casually beams into the camera. Each aspect of the image has been copied with such finesse. They really took the recreation seriously!

The Newborn Photoshoot, Or Not?

It is customary for new parents to get some pictures of their newborn. Most often than not, the mother or even the father is downright exhausted with looking after a baby that wails loudly every other minute. Truth be told, most newbies to the parenting department hardly ever get any sleep.

Now, that is quite evident by this picture of this dad holding his little munchkin, and like father, like son, the pair seem to have a knack for sleeping. And even several years later, nothing much has changed in the recreated photo- except for the fact that the newborn is not new anymore!

Still Terrified

Now, this baby snap is hilarious and is bound to make even the grumpiest person chuckle! Parents are devoted to taking as many photos as they possibly could because, in no time, their buttercup would be a grown-up, and pictures are the only way of preserving moments that can be looked back on.

Although parents try to capture an adorable looking baby, most of the time, the little one looks horrified instead. Despite the hilarious look on the baby's face, he did grow up to be a pretty good sport! Only a truly good-natured fella would recreate the picture and find humor in it, don't you think?

Nothing Has Changed

This one here bags the gold on this list. For one, the four mud-covered boys seem to have maintained their rapport throughout school and college, and then all the way into their thirties! It's not every day that we get to see a group of pals who really have been pranksters since forever!

Oh and we believe that the picture credits go to one of the boys' parents, and we can only imagine the sentimental look in their eyes as they clicked the shutter button a couple of decades later! Sweet nostalgia and four boys who can finally clean themselves after rolling around in the mud!

A Family Portrait, Recreated

True, most of the mentions on this list are of children recreating a photograph as an adult, so seeing an entire family work to recreate a portrait is so precious! Just look at them, three adorable sons, two standing on either side of pops and the youngest in daddy's arms. How truly adorable?

We cannot believe how decades later, all of them took the time to pin every tiny detail in recreating the old picture. Even the clothes are identical, although, about that, we have a feeling it was mom working behind the scenes getting the chaps neatly dressed for a picture!

Let Us Go, "Trick-Or-Treating!"

Of all the pictures we have from our childhood, nothing beats the yearly Halloween picture, when everyone in the family dresses up to celebrate a night full of haunted houses and candy! That's special because everybody joins in the fun during pumpkin spice season, including the busy oldest child and the mischievous youngest!

To be honest, the boys wore it best when they were young- just look at them in their little costumes, all smiley and cute! Then again, it is the intention that truly counts, and we are sure the lads had a great time recreating this photo!

Oh, Dear Brother!

If we could all agree on one thing, it would be about the fact that no love beats the affection and care brothers have for one another. The bond is truly special and one that cannot ever be replaced or outshone! And these two boys here are the ultimate epitome of brotherly love!

Just look at the duo, dressed in matching clothes from top to toe, even posing alike for the picture. And years later, they still look like they are the best of friends as they should. Also, nothing screams "best pals" than two chaps wearing identical clothes!

Talk About Details!

This recreated childhood snap is extra special because it was done by a professional photographer who helps adults recreate their favorite childhood picture. What is intriguing, however, is the fact that Irina Werning makes sure she gets every detail right, right from the texture of the fabric down to the buttons on an outfit.

We really love the fact because when it comes to memories, it is all about the details, and Irina makes sure of this by handcrafting even the costumes all by herself and choosing an identical, if not the same location for the photoshoot; bless her!

The Beach Recreation

Most of us would poll on the fact that choosing an identical location/setting and posing right is the trick to bagging the trophy when recreating childhood pictures. We agree, but having the facial expressions spot on as well would get you the gold!

Speaking of which, this older brother and his younger sisters are easily among the top three! Sure, the addition of the yellow towel on the brother's shoulder and the very similar umbrella in the background is pretty impressive! But the youngest sister pretending to bawl her eyes out for ice cream is what makes this picture truly stand out!

A 20-Year Old Tribute, Renewed!

This beautiful mother and her three cute munchkins had the perfect idea to commemorate the kids' dad on his birthday. They took this picture to remind him of his blessings, and honestly, we think getting a family portrait taken on such a special day is truly the best souvenir ever.

If that was not adorable enough, twenty years and twenty birthdays later, the beautiful family recreated the photo, same pose and all. And we must say, looking at how much they've all grown and them actually putting their heads together to surprise their father one more time makes us all warm and fuzzy on the inside!

The Box Looks Too Small Now

It's never a good idea to try to be a perfectionist always, especially while attempting to recreate a childhood image, and this picture proves just that! The three brothers seem to have taken their precision to the next level.

While their toddler versions seem to be enjoying themselves after being packed in the same box, the same cannot be said for their adult versions. Is that even a solid box? Because clearly, it's crumbling down. Evidently, they should have gone for a bigger container. Nonetheless, the astonished faces of these brothers are priceless.

Oh, Sweet Nostalgia!

Parents find so much joy in capturing their children doing adorable things, and spontaneous pictures snapped at just the right time like this one are so precious. This little boy hugging his baby brother swaddled in flannel is certainly heartwarming and oh-so-adorable!

Well, to add to the warm feeling, many years later, the brothers recreated the photo! They even managed to get ahold of identical quilts, or even better, it might be the very same ones they used as babies. The younger sibling even feigned the same facial expression, which serves as the cherry on top to something already "picture-perfect!"

This Photo Must Have Required Commitment

Seeing children in nothing but dungarees is quite different from seeing adults in the same; the thought of the latter is quite disturbing, might we add. But these siblings seem to pull off the outfit quite well, as kids and as adults.

These two brothers appear to show the same jubilance level when photographed together, both during childhood and adulthood. Using the same cloudy background just serves as the cherry on top of this 'then and now' picture. It seems the decision to reinvent this image must have required some strong commitment from both sides!

The Ghost Pose Never Gets Old

This adorable duo of brother and sister recreated their childhood picture wherein it seems they were trying to pull off the ghost pose. The two children in the image appear to relish scaring someone behind the camera by pulling their shirts over their heads from behind.

However, the adult versions seem to enjoy the absurdity of this childhood moment. With the brother impersonating his child self exactly the same, the two's commitment to recreating a precise copy of the image is evident. And we cannot get over the delightfulness of these pictures!

That's The Wrong Dip For Fries!

Why is it that every time three brothers get together, it is always to do something crazy? But these three kids went too far, or at least one of them did. The brothers in the Burger King joint didn't appear to be conscious about being under the public's eye.

The guy in the middle makes that absolutely clear as he inserts two fries into his nostrils and stares somewhere behind the camera. The sanest brother is the one who quietly sips his coke, who appears to be done with his siblings' shenanigans!

Nothing But Their Style Has Changed

The four siblings began a journey of photographing together in the same pose from the '50s till now. While their physical appearances have changed considerably over the decades, their delight in being each other's company appears to be one thing that hasn't changed!

We hope this tradition of clicking pictures continues forever, even when their style has evolved considerably. More photos of the four siblings, smiling at the lens, need to be added to the family album! There will always be something magical in documenting precious memories from childhood to adulthood.

Always There For You

Very few things in life beat the bond siblings naturally have with each other, and the two in this picture showed how close they've stayed through the years. From the time the big brother graduated high school to when his little sister graduated, this brother-sister duo stayed close and ended up recreating this delightful graduation memory.

Apart from the apparent difference in size, there is a change to the big brother's haircut and the girl's strength as she seems to have been working out to return the favor from years before on her graduation day. You go, girl!

We Will Always Love Raincoats

In the first picture, the four cute children strike a pose together, smiling innocently at the camera with their oversized raincoats, their faces almost hidden. The bond between the siblings just can't be missed as the two sisters on their yellow raincoats hold hands tightly, and their brother on a red raincoat places a hand on the little girl's head.

Twenty years later, they still seem to be really close, and their love for family is still evident. Though time has had a funny effect on these siblings' height differences, it's clear they're still fans of oversized raincoats.

Tiny To Big Muscles

Some people never really grow out of things like cartoons, role-playing, even mock wrestling, and these siblings are "some people," Eight years down the line, their sweet photo remake shows just how much they're still into the characters they admired as kids.

Our best guess is that they loved pro wrestling more, going by those signature poses the fighters show off in the ring. We think the guy behind has the best role-play because what else says "I can beat you up" better than this guy's face and perfect stance.

Christmas Traditions Are Never Too Old

The big family is always seen together for Christmas, but this time around, they were welcoming a baby boy into the house, and his elder sister is holding him affectionately in her arms. How could we miss the lamb? A significant detail on Christmas. He sure seems excited in the photo.

How time flies, though, and the baby boy is all grown up, but his sister seems to still watch after him. 18 years later, and the little lamb is still as excited as ever with his proud fluffy ears.

Remaking The Family Tree Portrait

These guys positioned themselves into a tree for a family portrait, and we see how happy they were in the left picture compared to when they were all grown up. As the youngest is much older, 16 years later, we bet she uses the expression "get out of my hair, dad!" a lot more than she would have as a baby.

Clearly, the family has stayed closer than how bubble gum sticks to a high school desks' underside, and we love them for it. Their picture pose is most definitely unique, so it must have been tricky getting it right; moreover, look how great this family's teamwork still is.

A Fall Playground

The fall keeps bringing dried fallen leaves to the lawn, and this duo has a chance to play with them, again as they did as kids. The younger sister is undoubtedly having a lot of fun in the first picture, almost buried in the heap of dried leaves and hoping no one drags her out.

They're both older now, and it looks like they're still in love with the autumn foliage seeing as the elder sister has her hands buried inside them just like she used to years ago. We hope the years have been kind to these two bright-eyed and fun-loving sisters.

Fraternal Stacking

Try fitting three kids in one seat, and you might get away with it, but if you try with those same kids, now all grown up, into a single chair, you would probably end up with a picture like the one on the right. It's charming that they all wanted to recreate this lovely candid shot from their childhood days, but as adults, perhaps the only person that would think it cute would be their mom.

The picture would definitely make a great mother's day gift to show their mother how much they've grown, and from the looks of it, stuck together over the years.

Chocolate Lovers From The Very Start

Sitting on a bench in the woods, these three sisters couldn't think of anything but their chocolates as the camera clicked away, capturing them at that moment. We believe the sister in the blue jacket is the eldest since she's the one divvying up the candy bar for her younger sisters.

Years later, the eldest is still the one sharing the chocolates, and her immediate younger is a little bit eager to get her share of the chocolate, while the youngest doesn't seem too concerned because she's already busy with hers — full points for re-creating their childhood fashions to near perfection.

They Always Have So Much Fun Together

If you have younger siblings, you are familiar with the joy that comes with using them as test subjects for your experiments or characters in your make-believe world. It creates some of the best memories you'll have with them, and the two in this recreation photo are still having so much fun with each other years later!

It'd be cool if the girl ended up having a career as a nurse, but in their make-believe world, she is still the devoted health professional that knows how to make her baby brother smile while giving him imaginary medication.

Slinky Delight

It doesn't take much to impress kids, and this slinky gave these siblings hilariously priceless reactions with their faces giving away their childish innocence. The boy on the far right seems purely mind blown by what their new toy could do, and from the looks of it, they saw the toy made out of brightly colored coiled up metal go down the stairs on its own for the first time.

The photos' backgrounds are obviously different, yet we see how the kids, grown into adults, have retained that pure joy in being with each other.
