Behind every celebrity who appears ready for the spotlight, there's a dedicated glam squad, PR team, and of course, a personal assistant and housekeeper. The perception about celebrity PAs and housekeepers is that they deal with an endless list of indignities, and they essentially have to be at their employer's beck and call.

Well, a few housekeepers and PAs to the stars have been dishing out tea about what it means to work for Hollywood's elite circles. Without further ado, let's pull back the veil on some of our favorite celebrities' well-kept secrets, based on the accounts of their staff members.

Jennifer Aniston - Ditches Clothes Behind Closed Doors

Jennifer Aniston is gearing up to reunite with the old gang from Friends for the upcoming 2021 reunion special. While Aniston has always been considered "America’s Sweetheart," her former assistants don't share the exact sentiments about her. Aniston reportedly doesn't like getting sweaty, and the task falls on her PA to fan her or help cool her face down with some ice cubes.

One of her past housekeepers also revealed that Aniston likes enjoying the freedom that comes with strutting around her house without wearing any garments. With a stunning physique at 52, no one can really blame Aniston for ditching clothes behind closed doors.

Angelina Jolie - Locks Her Kids Up

Angelina Jolie is known for her philanthropy, and in September 2020, she gave two youngs boys operating a lemonade stand a generous donation. Her former assistants revealed that she had an alcoholism issue and would lock her kids in their rooms on some occasions.

Other assistants also say that Jolie makes them watch all her movies, and that also includes the not-so-great ones. Ana Charlotiaux, who worked for Pitt and her former husband Brad Pitt at their French estate, sued them for a whopping $35M. The couple allegedly fired her for failing to turn up to work because she was sick.

Keri Hilson - Flares Up Easily

Nine years after dropping her last album, Keri Hilson announced that she was working on new music, and in  2020 she hopped on a track with Ghanaian musician Stoneboy. Before that, she toured alongside Amerie, Brandy, Mya, Monica, and Ashanti. Touring can be hectic, and no one knows it better than one of Hilson's past assistants who got an earful for an innocent oversight.

Hilson noticed that her performance fit still had tags on it, and she got off the stage mid-performance to let her assistant know how she felt about it. It took the intervention of her manager and bodyguard to stop the argument from turning more heated.

Naomi Campbell - Expects A Candle-Lit Reception

Naomi Campbell started 2021 as Kenya's tourism ambassador appointed by the East African nation's Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife. She also teamed up with Hood by Air for the relaunch of the streetwear brand. Campbell has a reputation for being high-maintenance, and it's no surprise that her assistants bear the brunt of it.

One of her past PAs revealed that Campbell expects to find 25 lily-scented Diptyque candles placed all around her hotel room before she arrives. She also has instructions about their placement, with 5 going in the bathroom, 10 in the living room, and the remaining 10 in the bedroom.

Jamie Dornan - Fascinated By Yarn & Canvases

While Jamie Dornan started his career on the runways, we know him best from portraying Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy of films. Recently, we've seen him in the 2021 comedy film Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, and he has upcoming credits in the British drama Belfast.

Dornan's character Christian Grey's guilty pleasure involved chains and whips, but Dornan is more fascinated with canvases and some yarn in real life. According to an employee, he's obsessed with needlepoint, and after a long day, he relaxes by polishing up on his cross-stitching.

Lisa Rinna - She Needs Press Protection

Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place are some of the shows that earned Lisa Rinna recognition. She's recently known for her appearance in the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In September 2020, she launched Rinna Beauty.

Ninie Papadatos worked as Rinna's PA for years, and she revealed that part of her duties included shielding Rinna from bad press. Rinna didn't want to see anything bad written about her, and Papadatos made sure that she never came across such content. She also revealed that Rinna referred to her as her "Adult Nanny."

Frank Sinatra - He Needed Specialty Underwear To Conceal His "Endowment"

The late Frank Sinatra left us with a list of timeless hits, including New York, New York. With 150 million sales achieved in his career, Sinatra stands as one of the world’s best-selling artists. Sinatra is equally remembered for some of the interesting tasks he assigned George Jacobs, his butler, to handle.

Jacobs released a publication in 2003 talking about his experience working for Sinatra. One of the secrets he revealed is that Sinatra covered his bald spot with spray. Sinatra reportedly also wore specialty underwear in public because he was "considerably endowed," and he had to conceal it.

Kim Zolciak -  She Had A Chain Habit

Kim Zolciak-Biermann is best known for her appearance in The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She received her own spin-off Don't Be Tardy, and the show's eighth premiered in October 2020. Zolciak-Biermann's publicist revealed that she's a chain smoker, and she had Vercase ashtrays worth $1K around the house.

Images surfaced showing Zolciak-Biermann smoking when she was reportedly carrying her twins. Zolciak denied the photos had been shot in 2013, just two days after she announced her pregnancy, and she threatened to take legal action against the agency that first published the story.

Sandra Bullock - She Keeps Her Drapes Closed Throughout

Sandra Bullock has been working behind the scenes as a producer of several upcoming films, including Lost City D and an untitled feature in collaboration with Nora Fingscheidt. Bullock thrilled us in the 2018 Netflix horror Bird Box with the premise of an outbreak that spreads through sight.

In the film, survivors have to wear blindfolds whenever they encounter the infected "entities," and Bullock's real-life apparently partly mirrors some aspects of the film. Bullock is quite paranoid about the possibility of people peering through her windows, and she prefers to keep her drapes shut throughout.

Christina Aguilera - She Dressed Up To Spice Up Her Marriage

Christina Aguilera concluded her Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theatre in March 2020. She also released Loyal Brave True, a promotional single for the 2020 remake of Mulan. Before she parted ways with Jordan Bratman, Aguilera spiced up their relationship by dressing up.

She donned assortments of adult-themed costumes, and her housekeepers reported picking up the risque outfits off the floor on numerous occasions.  Aguilera chose maids and nurses’ uniforms, in particular, to try and spice up her marriage. Ultimately, the couple failed to make their marriage last, and they divorced in 2011.

Jessica Simpson - Litters Her House With Extensions

Jessica Simpson opened up in her 2020 memoir titled Open Book about several aspects of her life. She addressed the on-again and off-again relationship she had with John Mayer between 2006 to 2007 and her past marriage to Nick Lachey. What she might not have omitted, but her staff members revealed, is that she leaves extensions all around the house.

One of her employees even described the sight as seeing the aftermath of what it looks like after an animal sheds its fur. Another mistook her eyelash extensions for a creepy-crawly, and another claimed that Simpson expects her fame to pay the tab at bars and dining establishments.

Anna Wintour - The Real-life Devil Who Wears Prada

Anna Wintour extended her support for Joe Biden during the 2020 U.S. presidential election. However, most of her assistants wouldn't return the favor in such circumstances because their experiences working with her even spawned a novel that got a screen adaptation.

Lauren Weisberger penned The Devil Wears Prada after leaving Vogue. In response, Wintour said that she always enjoyed good "fiction," and she hadn't decided whether she would read it or not. Weisberger said that she drew inspiration from her personal experiences and her friends' accounts for the film.

Scott Rudin - He Has An Anger Management Problem

Scott Rudin has been a busy man, we saw him in the 2021 film The Woman in the Window, and he has upcoming roles in The Humans and The Tragedy of Macbeth. We've heard that some celebrities have short fuses, and Rudin is one of them.

Rudin's former assistants have claimed that sometimes when he got particularly angry, he would start tossing things across the room. He's said to have thrown office supplies and even phones. Derek Evans, one of Rudin's former assistants, said that rookies who didn't know better often stood too close.

Demi Moore kept busy in 2020 with features in Songbird and the TV shows Brave New World and Dirty Diana. She's slated to appear in the drama film Please Baby Please. Moore can't stand the sight of herself in the mirror unless there's perfect lighting. A source said that she has Amber bulbs around her house because she believes that they are more flattering. In fact, Moore hoards the special bulbs so that she never runs out in case they run out of stock.

Martha Stewart - She Prefers Black Soles

Martha Stewart built an empire from her passion for everything related to creating the perfect home. It's earned her several accolades, including becoming a Licensing International Hall of Fame inductee in 2020. Stewart works with a large team of staff members, and some of her workers revealed that she asks them for a particularly odd favor.

Stewart asked them to change the color of her red-soled shoes to black using a Sharpie pen. She even admitted to it and said that it's quite an easy task to accomplish if you go with a broad Sharpie.

David Beckham - He Allegedly Cheated

David Beckham and his co-investors in the Major League Soccer team Inter Milan had the pleasure of watching the team face off with Los Angeles FC in March 2020. The team didn't emerge the victors that day, much like the salacious claims that Rebecca Loos made about Beckham in 2004.

Loos, who previously worked as Beckham's PR assistant, dished the tea about her alleged affair with him during an interview. She said that they exchanged texts, flirted, and developed a bond, but it ended up being purely physical. Beckham denied the claims, and he's still happily married to Victoria.

Christain Bale - He Had His Assistant Sniff His Pits

Christian Bale's dedication to the roles he plays as a method actor has seen him deliver great performances in films like American Psycho and The Machinist. He's still at it, and in 2022 he's scheduled to feature in Thor: Love and Thunder as Gorr the God Butcher. Bale has some peculiar habits, according to Harrison Cheung, his former assistant.

In a biography he penned in 2012, Cheung claimed that he went above and beyond the call of duty while working for Bale. That included sniffing Bale's armpits before his red carpet appearances, and he also made sock-runs if Bale didn't have clean ones.

Ariana Grande - She Won't Use Her Feet

Ariana Grande's 2020 collaborations helped her set the record as a musician to have the most top debuts on Billboard Hot 100 top three spots. That included her collaboration with Lady Gaga on Rain on me and Justin Bieber on Stuck with U.

Rumors have always been rife about Grande's alleged diva-ish tendencies, and a source once told Celebuzz that she demands to be carried around much like a child. Whenever she just doesn't feel like using her feet, her assistants have to carry her around. Grande has even shared photos showing her being carried by her assistants, which in a way supports the claims.

Meghan Markle - Her Royal Diva-ness

Meghan Markle has dominated the headlines over the past three years since tying the knot with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, Markle and Prince Harry made some damning claims against the Royal Family as an institution.

They cited issues like racism and Markle's battle with mental wellness as some of the reasons that they stepped away from their royal positions in 2020. The couple also addressed the claims that Markle's demanding nature forced three staff members to quit. Claims also have it that she never liked following Royal protocol, which only made her staff members' work more difficult.

Khloe Kardashian - She Doesn't Lift A Finger At Home

Khloe Kardashian teamed up with Kiwi in 2020 as the collagen supplement company's brand ambassador. She also got back together with Tristan Thompson, her daughter True's father, in the summer of 2020. One of her assistants told Radar Online that Khloe doesn't lift a finger at home.

Khloe reportedly only barks out orders, and it's up to her housekeepers and assistants to prepare the cookies and other treats before the camera starts rolling. It doesn't help that she received praise after showcasing her organized pantry while she wasn't the one behind organizing the space.

Taryn Manning - She Has A History With Violence

You might Know Taryn Manning best from Orange is the New Black, but she's had a successful music career as part of Boomkat, a duo band she formed with her brother Kellin. Manning went solo in 2009, and in 2020 she released the digital single Time Wasted.

Manning found herself in trouble with the law in 2012 and again in 2016 after assaulting Hollian Hartman, her long-time friend and makeup artist/assistant. She got drunk, and a disagreement she had with Hartman turned violent. After being ordered to stay away from Hartman, the two found a way to sort it out, and they are reportedly on good terms.

Justin Bieber - Addicted To Sizzurp

Justin Bieber is gearing up to drop his sixth studio album on March 19, 2021. He has already released four singles off of the album, which is titled, Justice. Bieber has courted controversy several times, but one of his housekeepers revealed yet another thing that's perhaps quirky about him.

Bieber had a codeine addiction problem, and "Sizzurp" was his portion of choice. The concoction is made by mixing soda and codeine-based syrup. Bieber's former PA Terrence Smalls suffered the consequences in 2014 when caught with illicit drugs at the Brisbane Airport.

Kim Kardashian - She's Fussy About Her Sweaters

Kim Kardashian is in the midst of divorcing Kanye West after filing on February 19, 2021. Perhaps we will see the process play out in the final season of Keeping Up with The Kardashians, scheduled to premiere in March 2021. We have witnessed a lot through the series, including Kim trolling her PA Stephanie Sheppards.

Another assistant revealed that Kim holds onto the fat she gets removed after liposuction procedures. She then transfers it to her face to keep wrinkles at bay, as well as her derriere. She is also fussy about how her sweaters are folded, and she'll mess up the stack if it's not up to standard.

Ryan Gosling - He Doesn't Like Being Hairy

Ryan Gosling has come a long way since The Notebook, and he has upcoming credits in The Gray Man and The Wold Man. Gosling’s house help snitched on him by sharing some of his odd habits. For instance, he pees while sitting down, sleeps with his head facing the foot of the bed, and ascends and descends a flight of stairs on all fours.

Gosling also loathes having bodily hair on his back and chest to the point of maintaining multiple waxing appointments to get it all removed. They aren't the most damaging revelations, and we are sure that Eva Mendes can easily overlook them all.

Mariah Carey - Diva Moments

The Meaning of Mariah Carey is the memoir Carey released in September 2020, sharing her previously untold experiences. The memoir topped the New York Times Best Seller list in its first week. What you read about in the publication are some of Carey's crazy requests. For instance, she's reported to demand that her dogs have a personal chauffeur while visiting hotel rooms.

One of her assistants broke down when they couldn't set up Apple TV correctly in Carey's hotel room. Another sued Carey in 2004 for overworking him with no meal breaks and overtime pay. She even keeps an assistant for the specific task of washing her luscious locks.

Johnny Depp - He Fancies Costumes

Johnny Depp hasn't had it good for the past couple of years following his split from Amber Heard, losing the libel suit against The News Group Newspapers in 2020, and Warner Bros. dropping him from the third iteration of the Fantastic Beasts films.

The Hollywood Reporter referred to him as a Hollywood "persona non-grata," and it led to an online petition in 2021 calling for Depp's return to the Pirates franchise. Depp reportedly likes dressing up in costumes and slipping into different characters. A source said that he even made his partner Vanessa Paradis laugh by wearing some of her dresses and shoes.

Selena Gomez - She's A Colossal Slob

Selena Gomez released her Spanish-language EP Revelación in March 2021. Baila Conmigo is one of the singles she dropped in January off of the album, but her past assistants aren't the kind who would have something to dance about based on their past experiences working for Gomez.

She's allegedly a colossal slob, and she doesn’t confine the disorganized habits to her home. The assistant claimed that Gomez can ruin a hotel room in a matter of hours with undergarments strewn all over, food wrappers tossed everywhere, and makeup stains on the bed.

Lady Gaga - She Doesn't Like Sleeping Alone

Lady Gaga’s collaborative album, which she worked on with Tony Bennet, is scheduled for release sometime in 2021. She's also scheduled to portray Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott's upcoming biographical film House of Gucci. Jennifer O'Neil sued Gaga in 2013 over unpaid dues amounting to $390K.

O'Neil revealed that part of her duties involved sharing Gaga's bed because Gaga didn't like sleeping alone. Gaga felt like O'Neil didn't deserve her dues because, according to her, O'Neil failed at accomplishing basic tasks like making sure her toothbrush and soap were set out each night. O'Neil also didn't lift a finger and allowed Gaga to carry her own luggage during travels.

Madonna - She Can't Stand Germs

Five assistants working for Madonna walked out of the job in 2009 because she's apparently too overbearing. They said that she made them work round the clock throughout the week, and she also required them to go on a macrobiotic diet. Madonna didn't want to risk coming into contact with germs during her concert in France in 2008.

She had all the shower, sinks, and commodes removed, scrubbed down then reinstalled just to be sure. In March 2020, her tour in France got canceled several times due to a recurring knee injury. Eventually, it canceled entirely once the French government banned public gatherings of more than 1K people.

Kylie Jenner - She Really Loves Her Smoothies

Kylie Jenner is worth a reported $900M, and even after the Forbes self-made billionaire debacle, the publication listed her as one of the highest-paid celebrities in 2020. With that amount of money, Kylie can buy anything she desires, and according to her PA, she's addicted to smoothies.

Jenner even allowed her PA, Victoria Gamero, to dish out dirt about her job on her app. Gamero revealed that Kylie required her assistants to know the specific smoothie she likes, and she won't touch the drink if it's too warm or the straw has been touched.
